Greater Multiple Projectiles (often referred to as GMP) is a support gem that causes any linked projectile skills to fire four more projectiles than they otherwise would. For instance, , which normally launches three projectiles, would instead launch seven sparks when supported by this gem.

Skill functions and interactions

The projectiles fan out in an arc, facing the direction that the skill is aimed. The spread of the arc is controlled by the positioning the mouse cursor. Positioning the cursor close to the character will result in a wide arc, while positioning it at the edges of the screen will result in a narrow arc. This gem can be combined with Lesser Multiple Projectiles for a total of 6 additional Projectiles.

Ailments: The "less projectile damage" on the gem doesn't decrease the damage of ailments such as poison, bleed and ignite, so gmp can be used safely to increase the number of targets hit. This can be especially useful with poison and skills that hit the same enemy multiple times, like Barrage and Tornado Shot, as they will stack multiple poisons without diminishing their strength.
