I've only found this card once so that's all I can confirm. I posted it to reddit a few days ago and in that thread Charan said that as far as he knows it can drop on Twilight Strand and Coast on all difficulties. Because the sword itself is very rare, the card is too, so I haven't seen much talk about it on reddit or in /global 1. --Kylegetsspam (talk) 00:18, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Drop disable

Ok, in temp league, no one selling this card, thus it is a pretty strong evidence that this card is drop disabled. But why and when? 3.0 due to no such Cruel and Merciless Hillock? But in theory Stacked Deck and the unique map The Putrid CloisterThe Putrid Cloister

And according to the edit summary, Charan left a clue in https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/504429, but apparently he deleted the account (and may be recreated another) and also his threads when he requested GGG to do so, and we dont know which page of the thread to look at in archive.org, so that no citation for the supporter attribution as well as the reason that the card no longer drop. This card definitely does not drop anymore. What I don't know is specifically when it became drop disabled. Version 3.0.0 seems like a reasonable guess, since its natural drop locations were removed at that time. —Vini (t|c) 12:21, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

If you don't want to farm for the sword (it's going to be...time consuming, since it drops from only one monster in the game), my divination card 'Birth of the Three' is being replaced by an Oni-Goroshi card that will drop in most places around Wraeclast. You can certainly trade for these (I don't imagine they'll cost much) and 'forge' Oni-Goroshi through Tasuni. But if you want to hear the first part of Oni-Goroshi's dialogue, you will need to find it rather than forge it. And it's one of the longest samples, pretty much a paragraph for introduction.
