Mayhem
Mayhem is a type of race leagues. The latest event of such game mode was started on December 4, 2020, for a week. This league has Standard (non-HC), Hardcore, Standard SSF and HC SSF variants.
The parent league of this game mode is a void league and without additional area modifiers from the temporary league (Heist league for the latest edition of the event).
The races award the winner of the race with a unique item that has the name "Demigod's" in it: Module Error: Item link: No results found for search parameter "Demigod's Dominance". in 2017 events and Module Error: Item link: No results found for search parameter "Demigod's Authority". in 2020.
Before the introduction of Mayhem race event, the game also has Eternal Torment and Exiles Everywhere as races.[1] They are the predecessor of Mayhem.

Note that GGG may disabled some of the modifiers. For example, all editions of the events so far, did not have Beyond and Perandus mod enabled.[2][3][4] In addition, 20 Harbingers mod is added to the 2020 events, but not in 2017. The November 2017 events was held in parallel with Harbinger league.
In some case, some mod appear to an area but not actually affect it. Such as rogue exiles are not actually spawning in The Tidal Island , probably for balance reason. While for The Twilight Strand (Act 1), GGG declared the extra modifier does not appear in that area. However, in fact it does, but only Breach and Torment mod works, while mods such as Invasion, Rogue Exiles and Strongbox does not.
Moreover, the modifiers did not have the league flag property. Unique items that specific to the past league CANNOT be acquired from the above area modifiers. E.g. Anarchy, Ambush, Invasion and Torment league.
However, since Harbinger unique pieces are tied to The Beachhead maps while Breach unique are tied to Breach monsters. The above restriction does not apply.
