Purity of Ice

Purity of Ice is an aura that grants cold resistance to the caster and his allies.

Skill Functions and Interactions

Both the additional cold resistance and additional maximum cold resistance are affected by increased aura effect.

The following x% increase in aura effect are needed to recieve a higher amount of max resistance. Appearently, as of 2.6.0 tooltip boni get rounded up at .5 values.^{Reddit Post} The values are calculated with that in mind. +5% max resistance are gained by a lvl 23 version of the aura.

The passive tree can provide 66% aura effect which requires heavy point investment though. The Guardian Templar class can have an additional 10% effect and the Champion Duelist class an additional 5%. Conqueror's Potency can provide another 3% effect.

Through the use of Victario's Influence with its lvl 30 Generosity Support, an additional 49% increased aura effect can be obtained. However, supported auras will not affect you.

All this sums up to a maximum effect of 118% for non Champion/Guardian, 123% for Champion and 128% for Guardian.
