In Path of Exile: Crucible, you'll learn about the ancient titans who once shaped the primordial surface of Wraeclast. If you're powerful enough, you will earn the ability to forge their power onto your weapons.

Crucible League is a challenge league. It was launched on April 7th, 2023 (UTC), alongside the Crucible expansion and Version 3.21.0 patch.

League Mechanic

A Crucible Forge spawns in zones. With it, you can select one of your equipped non-Unique weapon (including ones in your weapon swap slots), then you can begin channeling power into the Forge. The longer you hold your channel, the more enemies it spawns. After killing all the monsters spawned by the Crucible Forge, it grants experience towards the weapon's Crucible Passive Skill Tree.

The Crucible Passive Skill Tree is unlocked for weapons used on the forge and contain a small branch of passive skills that enhance your weapon. Leveling up your weapon allows you to allocate a connected passive skill of the next tier. Crucible passives are separated by tiers, and you can only allocate one passive from each tier.

Crucible encounters may sometimes drop a Primeval Remnant that opens portals to The Forge of the Titans. Completing it will allow you to use the Forge to sacrifice one item of the same item type to combine its Crucible Passive Tree to another, with some unpredictable changes. Higher levels Remnants can allow you to add a Crucible Passive Tree to a Unique weapon or sacrifice the same Unique item to combine both their Crucible Passive Trees.
