This skill was released accidentally in Version 1.1.0 and was removed until Version 1.1.5.[1][2]

Skill Functions and Interactions

Ball Lightning is a slow moving projectile, that strikes targets with bolts of lightning around itself. Lightning bolts strike targets every 200 milliseconds and each target cannot be hit more often than this. That restriction is shared between all balls fired on the same cast.[3] This also implies that multiple projectiles (through GMP or LMP) cannot hit the same target more than once every 200 milliseconds; i.e. the effect popularly called "shotgun", where a single target receives significantly more damage from multiple projectiles simultaneously, is not achievable with Ball Lightning.

  • Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Lesser Multiple Projectiles" and Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Greater Multiple Projectiles" support gems are a DPS loss, but the benefit is a better Area of Effect coverage and clear.
