Blood Magic
Blood Magic (often referred to as BM) is a keystone passive skill that allows the character to spend life instead of mana to use skills. It also sets maximum mana to zero. If taken with Eldritch Battery energy shield will continue to protect mana but will not be spent.
Skills that reserve mana will reserve life when linked with this gem. The cost of skills is calculated normally, so reduced mana cost or reduced mana reservation modifiers will reduce the amount of life used. It is not possible to commit suicide through Blood Magic.
Location
Blood Magic is located in the bottom left corner of the tree. Taking Blood Magic is required to reach the two 10% life nodes and the notable passive skill, Mortal Conviction.
