Walkthrough
Approach the Glyph Wall or pick up a glpyh to start the quest.
Investigate the Mud Flats for a way to lower the water
Look around the Mud Flats for some clues about how to lower the water. There is a strange wall that looks like it needs three objects. Tarkleigh may have more ideas.
Tarkleigh: There's something down there in that tidal tunnel, and I'd wager it's got to do with those empty glyph sockets on the cliff face. But whatever filled those sockets... long gone now. If they're shiny, they'll be adorning some rhoa's nest.
Find the Glyphs in the Rhoa Nests
In order to unlock the cave entrance you must find all three glyphs. They can be found in Rhoa nests in Mud Flats.
Take the Glyphs to the glyph wall
In order to unlock the cave entrance you must take the three glyphs to the glyph wall
The Cave is now open. Talk to Tarkleigh for your reward
The Submerged Passage is now open. Speak to Tarkleigh for your reward.
Tarkleigh: So you opened the tidal passage and lived to tell the tale? Forgive me if I don't seem over the moon about it. I was running down a wounded rhoa one night's eve, when I glimpsed something in that watery cave behind the mists of the falls. Looked a bit like one of those sand spitters, but the size of a bloody ox.
I reckon it'll be nesting down in the flooded depths, somewhere below that submerged tunnel. If you're going that way then do us a favour. Take this and go spill the old shield crab's guts... before it gets hungry and comes looking for us
