The First King is a historical figure in Wraeclast. He cannot be encountered and has no official depiction.

Lore

The First King was the first king of the ancient civilization known as the Proto-Vaal, which predates the Vaal and Lightless civilizations. Through the story told by Uzaza's Mountain, Uzaza's Meadow, and Uzaza's Valley, three events are known about The First King's early life.

  • He lead the Proto-Vaal through a narrow path, over "rough rocks" leading towards the sky in a "life-long" journey to find a home.
  • They (the Proto-Vaal) were unable to access the "gifts of the land", as they had been frozen over by cold winds.
  • There was a river through which "fat fish" swam, but was inaccessible due to layers of ice above. The First King supposedly "knew the river's secret", and was able to use the fish to feed his civilization.

The order of these events is not especially clear, but the above order seems to be the most accurate.

In a mural found in the Azurite Mines, The First King is presumably depicted wearing the unique items Ahn's Contempt, Ahn's Heritage, and Ahn's Might. Thus, it may be assumed that the First King's name is Ahn. Thousands of years later, Icius Perandus collected these items and made them part of his Antiques Collection
