Dead Reckoning was created by supporter [https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/User:SkeletonMagi SkeletonMagi]. The original design concept, which allowed characters to summon [[Skeleton mage]]s instead of Skeleton Warriors, was to relive the nostalgic Skeleton Mages skill from Diablo II's Necromancer as a new and different summoner build in Path of Exile.

Now grants the ability to summon an additional 5 Skeleton Mages, up from 3, and is now limited to 3.
Summoned Skeleton Mages now deal 50% more damage at gem level 20, and significantly more damage at earlier gem levels. Their behaviour has been tweaked and they will no longer flee.
