Ancestral Warchief

Ancestral Warchief is a skill that creates a totem which will attack enemies with melee AoE slams while the player stands close to it. Being near it also increases the player's damage.

Skill functions and interactions

• Multistrike: Ancestral Warchief cannot be supported by .

• Fortify: Linking to Ancestral Protector will cause the totem, and not the player, to gain Fortify on melee hit. This appears to be the only way for a totem to have Fortify.

• Multiple Totems: Melee damage buff does not stack when multiple totems are summoned.

• Totem Attack Range: The range at which the totem strikes is affected by the weapon range of the equipped weapon and modifiers to weapon range.

• Area of Effect: Modifiers to area radius affect both the range at which the totem strikes, as well as the radius of the attack.

• Activation: The totem is active as long as the player remains within a 85 unit radius of it. Initial activation also requires line of sight with the player, but this can be broken once the totem has become active.
• Dual Wielding: This skill will only attack with the main hand weapon while dual wielding.
