Scorching Ray

Scorching Ray is a channeled fire spell that fires a beam that inflicts burning damage to targets in front of you.
Skill functions and interactions
- While channeling Scorching Ray, the player has a reduced turning rate.
- Targets caught in the beam have a short burning and fire resistance reduction effect applied to them. The duration of the effect is refreshed while the target is in the beam. The longer a target is in the beam, the stronger the effects of the spell become.
- Scorching Ray is affected by spell damage, elemental damage, burning damage, duration, and cast speed modifiers.
- Cast speed affects the turn rate while channeling the spell and the frequency in which the effects of the spell are applied.
- It can be supported by Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Spell Totem Support", but not Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Trap Support" or Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Remote Mine Support".
- Scorching ray is not a projectile or an area skill.[1]
