Righteous Fire

Ignites you with magical fire that rapidly burns you and nearby enemies. Your spell damage is substantially increased while under this effect. The effect ends when you have 1 life remaining.

Skill Functions and Interactions

Life Degeneration Effect: While this skill is active, you will take fire degeneration damage. This damage can be mitigated with fire resistance. Enemies nearby will also take fire degeneration damage which can be mitigated with fire resistance. Characters with only 1 life due to Chaos Inoculation cannot inflict damage with Righteous Fire's degeneration. Righteous Fire will damage energy shield and keep it from regenerating while the skill is active. Keystones, passives, and item mods meant to avoid or block spell damage will not work on Righteous Fire's degeneration damage. Damage, to both you and enemies, can be increased with increased burning damage mods and passives.

Spell Damage: Righteous Fire provides a large bonus to spell damage during its effect. Note that this is More damage, meaning it is a multiplier to overall damage.
