This article describes historical game content.
the nemesis mod Volatile Flameblood is spawn disabled and cannot be found in temporary league
A Volatile Flameblood is a fireball that chase the player character and then explode, deals a lot of damage. However, since the explosion only trigger when the fireball reached the location of the character, and the explosion has a windup time, player can trigger the explosion windup and then walk away.
It is used to be spawned from monster that have Nemesis modifiers of the same name: Volatile Flameblood (Volatile FlamebloodVolatile Flameblood
Nemesis or Volatile FlamebloodVolatile Flameblood
Nemesis) as a on death effect. However, Nemesis modifiers are spawn disabled in version 3.18.0, so that such monster modifier can only be found in permanent leagues' The Menagerie or itemized beast, which monsters with this mod are captured by the players before the mod's removal.
During the Archnemesis league, the dev called the volatile spawned by Archnemesis monster of Magmaof Magma
Intrinsic
25% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage (Hidden)
30% increased Fire Damage (Hidden)
Gain 25% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage (Hidden)
+40% to Fire Resistance (Hidden)
25% additional Physical Damage Reduction (Hidden) as Volatile Flameblood in the in-game mod description.[1] However, the dev called the volatile as "Fire Volatile" since version 3.18.0.[2]
Note that Nemesis version spawns a visually much larger volatile, while the Magma Barrier mods spawn visually much smaller volatiles.
The unique boss The Enslaver also summons volatile, as well as Metamorph (which received the volatile skill from organ), they are similar to Volatile Flameblood.
