Vortex

Vortex is a cold spell that explodes dealing damage in area around the player and leaves a ground effect that chills (similar to chilling ground) and deals cold damage over time.

Skill functions and interactions

• The Vortex consists of two parts: explosion and a ground effect.
• Stacking: If an enemy is standing over multiple vortex ground effects,only the one with the highest damage per second will cause damage at any given moment. This is consistent with other damage over time ground effects, such as caustic cloud and burning ground.
• Modifiers to Spell Damage apply to this skill's Damage Over Time modifier also affects other damage over time effects created by this skill, such as poison or ignite.

Modifiers to Spell Damage apply to this skill's Damage Over Time for skill's deals base cold damage per second but can't affects damage over time, such as poison from Poison Support or ignite from The Three Dragonsin 3.0 version.

• : Hypothermia will only apply more damage on the initial hit and not the DoT.
