Master Toxicist is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Pathfinder. It grants a chance for poisons applied during any flask effect to deal more damage. It also causes poisons affecting a killed enemy to be reapplied to all nearby enemies in during any flask effect.

Mechanics

  • The secondary effect of this passive is often referred to by the community as "poison proliferation". However, contrary to the standard proliferation mechanics, poisons are reapplied instantly upon killing a poisoned enemy, and don't remain on its corpse. Functionally, it acts closer to Berek's RespiteBerek's Respite
