Flameblast

Skill Functions and Interactions
Cast speed
Flameblast deals 110% more damage per stage for a total of 1100% more damage, or 12 times base damage. The base casts per second is 3.33, so it takes 3 seconds to reach 10 stages. Increasing the Cast speed reduces the time to max stage, similar to how 
Incinerate works.[1] Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Spell Echo" causes Flameblast to grow 2 stages at a time, further reducing the time to max.
Curses
The blast detonates ~0.5sec after releasing the key, giving the player enough time to cast a curse like 
Flammability or try to Shock, however this will only boost the damage of burn if targets get ignited because the blast goes off before the curse or shock stacks.[2] Moving will set off the blast earlier.
Traps and Triggers
The skill can't be cast by conditional trigger gems such as Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Cast when Damage Taken" and Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Cast on Critical Strike". It also can't be linked to Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Trap" or Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Remote Mine" (unless linked to a totem).[3]
Duration
Because there is no "Duration" tag, Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Less Duration" doesn't work directly on the skill. When linked to Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Spell Totem", the totem doesn't stop channeling at 10 stacks. The player has to resummon the totem or let it die/expire (or kill it's target?) to release the AoE. [4] Less Duration can be used to time the duration of the totem, so that it automatically expires when 10 stacks are reached.
