Multiple Traps Support

Template:Gem Infobox Multiple Traps will change the laying behavior of any supported traps. Instead of throwing a single trap, three traps are thrown at once. The maximum number of traps of the linked skill is also increased by 3.

Skill Functions and Interactions

Vaal Skill Gems: Each individual trap consumes a stored use from a Vaal skill when it's combined with Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Trap". Multiple Traps can only add traps up to the number of uses currently stored in the Vaal skill for each throw.

Cluster Traps: When a trap skill linked with Multiple Traps and Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Cluster Traps", the resulting trap spread will throw a total of 6 traps in the same random spread as Cluster Trap alone.

Trap Throwing Distance: When targeting using a skill supported with Multiple Traps it is important to note that the distance and behavior of how the traps are placed is different than throwing a single trap. The furthest trap will be thrown to the location that the player is targeting. The remaining two traps will be placed at equidistant locations between the location of the player and the location of the furthest trap. The exception to this is when a trap is thrown within the minimum trap throwing distance. When this occurs, the three traps will be thrown equidistant from each other in the direction the player attempts to throw the trap and will space the traps far enough apart of satisfy the minimum throwing distance requirement to the furthest trap. If a skill supported with Multiple Traps is thrown to a location that is greater than the minimum throwing distance, the inside two traps will subsequently be spaced further apart. This is an important factor to consider when attempting to overlay area of effect skill traps such as Module Error: Too many skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Ice Nova".
