The Warlock of the Mists (or "Warlock") is a Wildwood ascendancy class taught by the Breaker of Oaths. It can be chosen in addition to a player's regular ascendancy class in Affliction league.
Overview
The Warlock specializes in the darker arts of the Azmeri. Blood Hunt lets them consume corpses to gain damage and protection against the same monster type. The Warlock also has access to one of three unique curse/minion skills: Affliction which causes their own minions to steal life from them and make them explode when near death, Pacify to cause the afflicted to deal no damage when enough of the curse duration has expired, and Penance Mark that summons hostile phantasms on hit that you can kill to trigger on-kill effects. They can utilize a Blood Magic-like playstyle by taking Sanguimancy and specialize further as a life-based build with Cannibalised Faith and Crimson Power. Soul Splitting summons an effigy that redirects some of the damage you take towards it, but the same is true for the reverse.
