Strategy

The fight will alternate between the following attacks and phases:

  • Direct Melee Attacks: regular melee attacks, a Flicker Strike ability, an AoE Attack in a Cone directly in front of the Guardian.
  • Circle Attack: A Red Circle appears around the Guardian, make sure you immediately exit this Circle as everything inside takes around 3000-4000 Damage/Second before Armor and Physical Damage Reduction.
  • Minions: The Guardian dissapears and Monsters enter the arena, they are much stronger than the average map mob, the phase ends after you beat a Unique Monster. This phase will occur three times throughout the fight as the Guardian is reduced to 75%, 50% and 25% of his HP.
  • Smoke: The Most Dangerous phase, the Guardian dissapears and patches of smoke appear in the Arena, anything OUTSIDE the Smokey areas will be repeatedly attacked by the Guardian, entering the smoke patches will prompt him to appear inside and attack you directly again.

Abilities

As of the other Guardians of the Void, the Guardian of the Chimera is very powerful and has a very high health pool, although less than the other Guardians.
