Mechanics

  • Gain an implicit modifier from a custom pool of mods for this item
  • Remove one random unique explicit modifier from this item
    • This item can no longer be modified if it removes the Can be modified while Corrupted modifier
  • Transform into another unique helmet, retaining its implicit modifier(s)
  • Brick into a single or dual influenced rare helmet, retaining its implicit modifier(s)

Special implicit modifiers

For generated item/monster modifiers the minimum item/monster level respectively. Some generation types may not require this condition to be met, however item level restrictions may be raised to 80% of this value.Stats

According to poedb, the implicit outcomes are weighted. Regular Vaal implicit outcomes cannot be rolled.

Item acquisition

Glimpse of Chaos has restrictions on where or how it can drop. It cannot be chanced. Can be obtained as a boss drop from the Trialmaster in an Ultimatum encounter.
