Accuracy is a rating that measures a character's chance to hit with melee and ranged weapons. Accuracy is opposed by the defender's evasion.

Every point of Dexterity gives 2 additional base accuracy, and characters gain 2 base accuracy when leveling up.

Mechanics

Accuracy is weighed against the target's evasion when determining if an attack hits or misses according to:[1][2]

Chance to hit can not be lower than 5%, nor higher than 95% by default.

  • Resolute Technique will raise the chance to hit to 100%, ignoring all accuracy and evasion stats of the attacker and defender respectively, at the cost of reducing the attacker's global critical chance to 0%.
  • Unwavering Stance does the same, in reverse; all attacks against the subject will hit regardless of accuracy.

Spells do not benefit from accuracy since evasion does not aid in avoiding them.
