Shavronne of Umbra was a thaumaturgist and an important historical figure in Wraeclast. She belongs to a group of people or a location known as Umbra. Shavronne was killed by Brutus after turning him into a monster.

History

Shavronne was a thaumaturge, one of three disciples of Malachai. She makes up the Godless Three along with her fellow disciples Doedre and Maligaro.

Shavronne's apparel became ever more extravagant

as her body and soul became ever more corrupted.

The Purity Rebellion

After the fall of Lioneye's Watch at the hands of Kaom, the Karui began heading towards Sarn. Shavronne was the Empire's second line of defence. Shavronne raced to the next defensible structure up the coast, Axiom Prison. She tricked or convinced the warden, Brutus, into allowing her to make him into a super-human monster capable of defeating the Karui.

Shavronne raced to Brutus' side,

her last hope against the Karui tide.

Brutus was never defeated by the Karui, although it is unknown if they ever attacked Axiom Prison. Although Karui carvings can be encountered beyond Axiom Prison, they may not have traveled there via Axiom; since the Karui possessed canoe technology they may have just travelled by sea up the coast.

Regardless of whether or not they encountered the Karui, according to Piety, Shavronne was slain by her very own creation.
