A proxy is an unofficial term that represents sources of skills or effects that are not from the character itself, but scale with most of the character's offensive stats. Proxies inherit most effects from the player's items and passives. Proxies do not attribute on-hit effects or kills to the character unless the character is wearing a GravebindGravebind

Proxies may persist for a duration, die/expire immediately on skill use, or both. Proxies also may or may not be targetable or damageable, depending on its type. A few proxies are mobile and can move around.

The following types of skills are considered proxies:

  • Totems (duration, targetable, damageable)
  • Traps (duration, expires on skill use, damageable)
  • Mines (duration, expires on skill use, damageable)
  • Mirages and similar effects

      This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.
