Altar of Corruption
Within the Locus of Corruption, the player can interact with the Corruption Altar in the center of the room to access a device that can be used to corrupt a single item, with potentially powerful or destructive results. This works somewhat like a

Each outcome has an equal chance of occurring.[1] It is most likely not possible to transform certain unique equipment items into their Vaal version. There are no upgraded uniques with two corrupted implicit modifiers.
