The Atlas of Worlds and Atlas passive skills were revised significantly in version 3.17.0. The Uncharted Realms no longer exists. This article describes the Uncharted Realms as it existed prior to the Siege of the Atlas expansion.

The Uncharted Realms is a passive skill tree that affects the entire Atlas, not just a particular region. It does not appear in the user interface until the player earns skill points that apply there.

Six difficult Maven challenges are not tied to a particular region. Completing any of these invitations for the first time will award two skill points for The Uncharted Realms, for a maximum of twelve skill points.

• Enduring Influence (notable): Sextant Modifiers have 1 additional use
• Unique Watchstone Chance (1 connector): Sirus, Awakener of Worlds has 10% increased chance to drop a Unique Ivory Watchstone
• Secrets of the Stones (notable): 25% increased Effect of Watchstone Modifiers

Zana Passive Skills:

• Zana Map Quality (3 connectors): +5% to Quality of Maps offered by Zana Missions in Areas
• Master of the Atlas (notable): Areas have 5% chance to grant an additional Zana Mission on Completion, Zana Missions in Areas grant 100% increased Favour
• Paths Not Taken (notable): Zana Missions in Areas have double the number of Map options, Zana Missions in Areas have additional Maps that can appear in the Map options
• Echoes of War (notable): Zana Missions in Areas have up to 30 additional packs of Shaper and Elder monsters
• Master Favour (1 connector): Missions in Areas grant 30% increased Favour
• Close Allies (notable): Gain 1 additional Atlas Mission from each Master each day, Areas have 10% chance to grant an additional Mission on Completion

Conquerors of the Atlas Passive Skills:

• Influenced Item Chance (3 connectors): Items found in Areas have 10% increased chance to be Influenced
• Adept Tracker (notable): 25% chance on completing a Map influenced by a Conqueror of the Atlas to gain double progress towards locating their Citadel
• Atlas Awakened (notable): +1 to Awakening Level
• Thaumaturgical Awakening (notable): Sirus, Awakener of Worlds has 50% increased chance to drop an Awakened Support Gem

War for the Atlas Passive Skills:

• Shaper, Elder and Guardian Influenced Item Chance (3 connectors): The Shaper, The Elder and their Guardians have a 35% chance to drop an Influenced Item
• Remnants of the Past (notable): Unique Bosses have 3% chance to drop a Shaper Guardian Map (Tier 14+), Unique Bosses have 3% chance to drop an Elder Guardian Map (Tier 14+)
• Gaze into the Abyss (notable): The Elder has an additional 10% chance to drop a Watcher’s Eye, The Shaper drops 3 additional Shaper Items
• Guardian's Aid (notable): Shaper and Elder Guardians are healed and joined by an ally on first reaching 33% Life, Allies have a chance to drop their Unique Items and Fragments

Version history

Version	Changes
3.17.0	The Atlas of Worlds has been revised, and regions have been removed. The regional Atlas Passive Trees have been replaced with one gigantic Atlas-wide Passive Tree that affects all maps you run.
3.16.0	Four regions were removed from the Atlas. The skill trees for the remaining regions, and for The Uncharted Realms, were redesigned.
