The King of the Mists is the major antagonist of Affliction league and the Viridian Wildwood.

Entry

Crux of Nothingness can be accessed in the Viridian Wildwood of area level of 81+, indicated by three pedestals called "Dark Offering" and a lore object "Determination". The War for the Wildwood quest must be unlocked before accessing him.

Skills

Phase 1

The battle begins in a circular arena with three raised platforms that can be accessed using walkways. A large Ritual altar stands in the center of the arena, and three smaller altars on the platforms.

  • Vine Cascade - Thorngrip!/Lonnsaigh! - Creating a cascade of phys+chaos conversion tendrils.
  • Teleport - Nothingness approaches! - Teleports to a platform, destroying a Ritual altar.
  • Summon Effigy - Dark effigy! - Creates an effigy..
  • Ritual of Dance - Keep running!/You are seen! - Inflicts a debuff for 8 seconds, imprisoning players if they stand still.
  • Ritual of Meditation - Keep running! - Inflicts a debuff for 8 seconds, imprisoning players if they move.
  • File:Maze Teleport status icon.pngMaze Teleport - The border of my realm grows closer.../A sliver of what my home feels like. - Teleports players to a maze, starting phase 2.

Phase 2

The player is teleported to a very large arena covered in a maze of thick vines which cannot be crossed. The arena fills with bugs that deal increasing DOT. Follow the Sacred Wisps' path towards the large purple portal back to the arena.

Phase 3

The player is returned to the arena from phase 1, where the King in the Mists' body disintegrates and emerges as a large treant. The platforms are now covered in Blackflame fire.

    Critical Strike Chance: 5.00%
    Effectiveness of Added Damage: 170%
    Requires Level 28Fires a projectile that turns towards enemies in front of it, damaging and piercing through those it hits, and leeching some of that damage as energy shield. As the projectile travels, it repeatedly applies a short but powerful chaos damage over time debuff to each enemy in an area around it.Deals (21-885) to (31-1327) Chaos Damage
