Vorici, Master Assassin

Vorici, Master Assassin is one of the eight Forsaken Masters. His crafting options revolve around socketing, linking and colouring items.

Vorici is voiced by New Zealand actor, Calum Gittins, who also voices Silk (as of 3.0.0).

Missions

All of Vorici's missions involve the "target", which is a Rogue Exile. The target will be surrounded by a number of guards. As of 1.2.3, Exiles which do not need to be killed will despawn after mission requirements have been fulfilled. After initializing a Vorici mission, he will use a hand gesture to point in the direction of where the objective takes place. However, this is not always accurate when missions spread across floors or separate map areas.

• Assassinate the target. May have a time limit of 60 seconds. The timer only runs when near the target.
• Assassinate the target, keep at least one guard alive.
• Assassinate the target, keep all guards alive.
• Assassinate the target, keep the hostage alive. The hostage is a friendly monster. When you pass by a certain radius of the target, the target and guards will begin attacking the hostage. Note that this happens regardless of line-of-sight.
• Assassinate the target, Rescue the hostage. Hostage is allied with you and will fight.
• Open the target's chest, keep the target alive. The target gains a powerful active life regeneration skill. The chest takes 5s to open; being hit while opening the chest will interrupt the process.
• Keep the target at low life for 10 seconds.
• Kill all the guards, keep the target alive.

Crafting

Vorici crafts sockets on items regardless of the items item level. As Vorici levels up, more crafting options will be unlocked. See below for a list.

NB: The placement of sockets, according to the community at Reddit, is such that the first N-sockets or the first N-links will have its properties fixed by the crafting bench. This matters when your item is, say, 1-socket followed by a 5-link - the lone socket will always have the fixed colour, affecting your crafting options. NB: When crafting additional sockets, e.g. crafting 4 sockets onto an existing 3L, the existing link and colour configuration will be kept. This can be useful when one lacks the currency to rechrome/resocket. Tested by forumites.
