Frenzy charges are one of the three charge types. They are associated with dexterity and represent a temporary increase to swiftness and fervor during combat. The charges are visualized as glowing green orbs surrounding the character.

Blood Rage applies a buff that grants a chance to generate a frenzy charge on kill.

Passive Skills

Charge on Kill and Overcharged grants a chance to generate a random type of charge on kill.
These ascendancy class skills grant a chance to generate frenzy charges:
- Ascendant's Raider (on kill)
- Gladiator's Outmatch and Outlast (on kill with main hand weapon)
- Raider's Way of the Poacher (on kill)
- Trickster's Swift Killer (on kill)

Source of maximum Frenzy Charges

Frenetic, Fervor, Savagery are passive skills that each grant +1 maximum frenzy charge.
The Raider's notable skill Avatar of the Slaughter grants +1 maximum frenzy charge.
The Trickster's notable skill Swift Killer grants +1 maximum frenzy charge.
Aiding Kraityn in the quest Deal with the Bandits on the Merciless difficulty setting rewards you with a permanent +1 maximum Frenzy Charge.
Corrupting an amulet or boots with a Vaal Orb can give the item a +1 Maximum Frenzy Charge as an implicit.

Discharge consumes frenzy charges to deal additional cold damage.
