A savage hit is a hit that removes at least 15% of the target's maximum life. Damage to energy shield and mana are not counted toward the savage hit threshold.[1]

Hale Negator has the following mods:

  • +1 to Maximum Spirit Charges per Abyss Jewel affecting you
  • Gain a Spirit Charge every second
  • You lose all Spirit Charges when taking a Savage Hit
  • Recover (2-3)% of Life when you lose a Spirit Charge
  • Recover (2-3)% of Energy Shield when you lose a Spirit Charge

As a result, 5 seconds and 5 abyss jewels, and a 3% life recovery mod is the needed to fully recover from a minimum savage hit of 15% of maximum life.

The Soul of Garukhan provides +5% chance to Evade Attacks if you've taken a Savage Hit Recently. The way Evasion works makes it so that the chance of taking another hit immediately after taking a savage hit with the Garukhan pantheon is significantly reduced. This pantheon works best with other forms of damage prevention, such as evasion, dodge, block, or avoidance.
