This item's unique explicit modifiers have no level requirements, and ring basetype level requirements are determined by their implicit. Using a {{il|Vaal Orb}} (or Incursion Temple [[double corrupt]]ion) on this ring has a chance to replace the ring's implicit; certain corrupted implicit outcomes will remove the ring's level requirement, allowing access to strong minions (roughly balanced for [[Part 2]] of the [[Act]]s) and 30-60 flat Physical Damage from level 1.

Version history

Rigwald's Crest could only drop from a level 60 or higher Rigwald, the Wolven King.[1] Since the league never went to core as an Extra Content or Zana's (now Kirac's) map mod, this item was only available from various methods that reward league-specific items. However, since version 3.14.0, this item is also in the core drop pool.
