Proto-Vaal?

Where does the name "Proto-Vaal" come from? Is that a made-up description or a name explicitly mentioned in-game? If it's the former, then perhaps the description "primeval civilization" would be more appropriate since the descriptor "primeval" does actually show up in relation to these things: Primeval Ruins and Primeval Chamber. Also, the concept of a First King lends itself to the idea that this is a primeval civilization. —Vini (t|c) 00:51, 4 July 2023 (UTC)

Damn, i always assumed that it was sourced as both kittencatnoodle's yt series and the lore document use it as fact, and those are the only two reputable sources of lore compilation. it should be changed to "primeval civilization". Bloonpauper (talk) 09:27, 4 July 2023 (UTC)

I always said cite the source of your info. If you use kittencatnoodle's info, state it. "Proto-Vaal" came from the internal area id of the Delve area and we don't know it is official or not. Also, kittencatnoodle or redditor's interpretation are never confirmed by the dev as official lore. Neokowloon (talk) 10:21, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
