Piety the Empyrean is the map boss of Shrine Map. She is based on Piety fight in the Lunaris Temple of Act 3.

Strategy

The boss fight and the arena is almost identical to the Act 3 variant. However, the boss is now affected by map mods and belongs to end-game resistance group.

Moreover, the boss fight has one extra damage phase before the boss arena portal, similar to the first Encounter of Piety in The Crematorium. Player need to damage the boss to a certain threshold to trigger her retreat as well as the opening of the portal for the player character to use.
