Mana is shown on the bottom right of the screen. You can use Flasks to refill it, or invest in passives for increased mana, mana regeneration or even reduced mana cost.

Every class starts with 40 Mana, and gains +4 per level.

Every +10 Intelligence node gives you +5 Mana.

All classes have a base mana regeneration rate of 1.75% of their maximum mana per second, or equivalently, 105% per minute.

Passives

There are passive skill nodes that grant additional mana or a combination of bonuses including mana. Other passives such as Mana Regeneration and Reduced Mana Cost are related to mana, but do not increase maximum mana.

The Blood Magic Keystone removes Mana, causing you to cast magic with your Life. Eldritch Battery turns your Energy Shield into Mana.

Passives also exist which will increase the amount of Mana regained from Flasks.

Mana

These passives either add a set amount to a character's maximum mana or increase maximum mana by a percentage.

In the case of Eldritch Battery, maximum mana is increased by an amount equal to total Energy Shield. In exchange, Energy Shield is reduced to 0.

Mana Regeneration

By default, characters regenerate 1.75% of their maximum mana per second, or 105% per minute. These passives increase the base mana regeneration rate by a percentage. They affect mana regeneration from the Clarity aura as well.

Reduced Mana Cost

These passives reduce the mana cost of skills by a percentage. However, they do not reduce the amount of mana reserved by Auras and skills like Tempest Shield, unlike the Reduced Mana support gem.

The maximum reduction of Mana cost of Skills is 69%.

Reduced Mana Reservation

For Auras and skills like Tempest Shield, these passives reduce the amount of mana reserved by a percentage.

Mana Leech

These passives add mana leech to attacks as a percentage of physical damage dealt.

The regeneration rate of mana gained from mana leech is capped at 12.5% of maximum mana per second. If you have 1000 maximum mana, and leech 500 mana with a single attack, it will take four seconds for that mana to be applied to your current mana. You always get the full amount of mana leeched, it is only the rate at which it regenerates that is capped - if you leech a large amount of mana during a battle, you may find that the regeneration continues long after the battle is over. Similar to flasks, the regeneration from leech will stop if you reach maximum mana.

Mana Gain on Killing Blow

These passives restore a set amount of mana whenever your character kills an enemy. Unlike mana leech, mana gained this way is restored instantly.
