Dyadian Dawn

Revision as of 14:05, 8 January 2019 by >MaXiMiUS (Wording change for consistency with GGG's mechanics -- sources of "faster" burn are not additive. Having two sources of 50% faster burn results in a 0.5 * 0.5 = 0.25x duration, not 0x duration.)

Dyadian Dawn is a unique Heavy BeltHeavy BeltRequires Level 8+(25-35) to Strength.

Modifiers

Enemies ignited by an attack burn 35% faster with Dyadian Dawn equipped, which means the ignite duration is 35% less and the fire damage per second is increased by 53.8%.[1]

To illustrate this, assume an enemy would normally be inflicted with ignite for 100 damage per second over 4.0 seconds. With Dyadian Dawn, the burn rate is increased by 35%, which gives 4 * (1 - 0.35) = 2.6 seconds. Because the total damage must remain the same, the new damage per second is 400 ÷ 2.6 ~= 153.8.
