My faith is my shield.
Divine Shield is a keystone passive skill that allows 3% of Total Physical Damage prevented from Hits Recently to be Regenerated as Energy Shield per second, but you cannot recover Energy Shield to above your Armour value.
Mechanics
The prevented damage is the difference between the calculated damage before mitigation and the damage taken after all steps of mitigation if that difference is positive, including not just physical damage reduction but also Block and Spell Suppression.[1] If the user takes more damage than the amount calculated before mitigation, it will not count as "negative" prevented damage.[2]
Location
Divine Shield is located on the far left side of the skill tree between the Templar and Marauder starting areas.
