Minion Instability is a keystone passive skill that causes minions to explode when reduced to low life, dealing 33% of their maximum life as fire damage to nearby enemies.
The base explosion radius is 22 units.[1]

Damage can be increased by:
- passive skills
- Minion Damage
- Minion Damage and Life Leech

- Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Minion Damage Support"
- Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Minion Life Support"
- Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Fire Penetration Support"
- Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Concentrated Effect Support"
- Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Chance to Ignite Support" (indirectly)
- Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Increased Area of Effect Support" (indirectly)
- Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Elemental Proliferation Support" (indirectly)
- Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Increased Burning Damage Support" (indirectly)
Previously the damage dealt by exploding minions was not affected by a minion's own(1) fire damage or burning damage increases, such as those provided by the Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Increased Burning Damage Support" support gem or through Necromantic Aegis. This bug has since been fixed.[2]
(1) Minions never benefit from your passives or equipment unless specifically stated.
