Still Doesn't Benefit From +Fire

Quoted from the wiki: "Previously the damage dealt by exploding Minions was not effected by any increases in Fire Damage or Burning. Developers stated that this may be changed and later confirmed it had been.[1]"

The wording from the reference was misunderstood. Minion instability still does not benefit from PLAYER +%Fire Damage or +%Burning Damage. It is only affected by any +%Fire Damage or +%Burning Damage the MINIONS may have (such as that given through Necromantic Aegis). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Teslacannon (talkcontribs) 00:56, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

The previous wording was actually correct, although open to misunderstanding. It previously did not benefit from Fire or Burning Damage bonuses and now it does. The bug was fixed and the previous text was about that bug. A reference to the original post about the bug should probably be added at some point.
It obviously doesn't benefit from your bonuses. No minion skill benefits from your passives or equipment other than through NA. The previous bug is that it wouldn't benefit from it's own Fire/Burning Damage bonuses if it had some. For example Increased Burning Damage
Currently the text makes it sound as if GGG will change the mechanics, however it's currently working as intended. Minions' skills are never supposed to be effected by your bonuses. (other than the obvious) -AnnanFay (talk) 01:28, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

Is MI considered an attack?

Can i scale it via Awakened melee physical damage on support minions? Intimidate: Intimidate is a debuff that causes the affected target to take 10% increased attack damage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Voodoov (talkcontribs) 10:51, 15 January 2024‎ (UTC)

No, I believe the explosion is considered secondary damage. —Vini (t|c) 16:20, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
