Crystalised Fear is a debuff due to The Elder's super siphon skill. The skill is not used in the Uber Elder fight. Super siphon skill will cause the player character to have both Crystalised Fear and Fed Upon debuffs. The latter make the player character taking physical damage over time, and is applied to the player character when standing in the fan-shaped ground effect.
The Elder will completely freeze the player character (it is not preventable even with item Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Kaom's Roots") and the player character took physical damage over time (from Fed Upon). After few seconds, The Shaper will attack the Elder and unfreeze the player in the process.
Trivia
The status icon of Crystalised Fear is called "ElderSuperSiphon.dds" in the game file, while the two debuffs icons from the normal Elder siphon skill: Sprouting Madness and Fed Upon are called "ElderSiphon.dds".
