Essence of Hysteria

Essence of Hysteria is an essence. It can only be obtained by using a on a group of monsters trapped by an Essence of Scorn, Envy, Misery or Dread of any tier (the purple map-only essences). See here for more info.

Modifiers

Using this essence on an item sets the level requirement to at least 50.

Gloves	of the Essence - Socketed Gems deal 175 to 225 Added Fire Damage (Suffix)
Boots	of the Essence - Drops Burning Ground while moving, dealing 2500 Fire Damage per second for 4 seconds (Suffix)
Body	of the Essence - 25% increased Area of Effect (Suffix)
Helmet	of the Essence - Socketed Gems deal 30% more Damage while on Low Life (Suffix)
Shield	of the Essence - Adds 60 to 100 Fire Damage if you've Blocked Recently (Suffix)
Quiver	Essences - Gain 15% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage (Prefix)
Amulet	of the Essence - 150% increased total Recovery per second from Life Leech (Suffix)
Ring	Essences - Gain 10% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage (Prefix)
Belt	of the Essence - Damage Penetrates 5% Elemental Resistances during any Flask Effect (Suffix)

3.14.0	No longer grants Socketed Gems have +50% chance to Ignite to Helmets. Now grants Socketed Gems deal 30% more Damage while on Low Life to Helmets. Now grants 25% increased Area of Effect to Body Armour (previously 10%). Now adds 60 to 100 Fire Damage if you've Blocked Recently to Shields (previously 40 to 80). Now grants 150% increased Recovery per second from Life Leech to Amulets (previously 40%). Now grants Gain 15% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage to Quivers (previously 10%). The Boots modifier that Drops Burning Ground while moving, dealing 2500 Fire Damage per second, now does so for 4 seconds (previously 1 second). The Burning Ground visual effect has also been been updated to more accurately reflect the damage area. Existing items with this modifier can be updated to the new value with a Divine Orb. The Weapon modifier now always casts Fire Burst on Hit (previously 10% chance). Existing items with this modifier will be updated to the new value.
3.11.0	Essence of Hysteria on boots will now drop Burning Ground every 10 units (from 25).
2.4.0c	The Essence of Hysteria boots mod now has a level 60 requirement.
