Unlike the original skill, this transfigured version causes brands to attach to a new enemy after activating, identical to the same stat from Brand Mastery, and only sends a beam to a single target instead of multiple. It has higher damage, higher damage effectiveness, a faster activation frequency, but no damage multiplier against branded enemies other than a small amount from gem quality.
