Orb of Annulment

The Orb of Annulment is an uncommon currency item that can be used to remove a random modifier from a magic or rare item.

Obtaining

Orbs of Annulment are uncommon currency items that can be dropped by slain monsters, chests, and destructible containers. They also drop from Arcanist's Strongboxes.

They can also be obtained by combining Annulment ShardsAnnulment ShardStack Size: 20A stack of 20 shards becomes an Orb of Annulment., which are dropped exclusively by Harbingers.

Acquisition

• A set of 5 Emperor's Luck¹ can be exchanged for five Orbs of Annulment.

¹Not guaranteed (set grants 5 of any random currency)

Spending

Orbs of Annulment are used in item crafting, and are especially useful to improve good items with one undesired modifier. Using these orbs is risky though, since the removed modifier is chosen completely randomly.
