One Step Ahead is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Trickster that grants a minimum of 108% action speed to you and a maximum of 92% action speed on nearby Enemies.

These modifiers function similarly to Tailwind and Chill. Note that because these are minimums/maximums they do not affect the actual base action speed (100%); players will gain no additional benefits from sources of increased (and enemies with decreased) action speed unless the total magnitude is 9% or greater (therefore exceeding the threshold). Anything lower than 8% will be overwritten by the set value.[1] Note that the slow effect only applies to enemy monsters, and will not affect other players in a PVP setting.

Your Action Speed is at least 108% of its base value: This allows the player to ignore any action speed slows such as chill, freeze, or petrify. It also prevents the action speed reduction of Temporal ChainsTemporal ChainsSpell, AoE, Duration, Curse, Hex

The distance of the slowing aura is 60 units.
