Life gain on hit or mana gain on hit instantly restores an amount of life or mana respectively for each enemy hit by the character's skills.

When an enemy is hit by your attack, you gain an amount of life equal to combined life gain on hit bonuses from passives and all other sources. This applies to each enemy hit by your attacks, so a single attack that hits multiple targets can trigger more than one life gain on hit effect. Unlike life leech, life gained this way is restored instantly.

There are passive skills that grant life or mana gain on hit bonuses.
