Flying is an inherent property held by certain entities and cannot be stolen by the player.

Mechanics

Flying entities can freely move over gaps, ledges, and other non-traversable terrain, as well as small obstacles like rocks and prison bars which typically block movement.[1] Flying entities cannot go through solid walls, Frost WallFrost WallSpell, Duration, Cold
