Harbingers in your Maps have 25% chance to be replaced by a powerful Harbinger boss [1] First Wave (formerly Diplomatic Escort) is an atlas passive skill.
The atlas passive made the Harbinger in your map have a chance to be replaced by a King Harbinger, also known as "Harbinger boss". The small passives prior this notable provide the chance to spawn Harbinger.
Ruthless mode
In Ruthless mode, the chance is reduced to 10%, the small passives prior, also each grant 1% chance to spawn Harbinger, instead of 5%.
