Destructive Play
when Witnessing Map Bosses
The number of additional Bosses summoned is higher if there
are fewer monsters remaining in the Map
Modifiers to the Final Map Boss in each Map also apply to these summoned Bosses [1]
Destructive Play is an Atlas keystone passive skill that causes the Maven to use the Up the Stakes skill when witnessing map bosses, summoning 1 to 3 additional bosses. The number of additional bosses summoned by Up the Stakes is higher if there are fewer monsters remaining in the map.
Mechanics
Destructive Play causes the Maven to always use the skill "Up the Stakes", which summons 1-3 additional random bosses when witnessing a map boss in a map. Maven can summon additional bosses even if the map boss is killed before she casts the skill. These additional bosses do not count towards having been witnessed by the Maven. Modifiers to Final Map Bosses apply to these summoned bosses which include the following:
- Thorough Exploration: Wisp empowerment
- Remnants of the Past: Shaper Guardian map
- Vivid Memories: Synthesis unique map
- Chittering Champions: Scarabs
- Shaping the World: Connected map

In a Conqueror map, if the Maven is unable to cast the skill on the default map boss, it will instead cast it inside the Conqueror's arena.
In an Elder Guardian map, Maven uses the skill only in the Elder Guardian's third/final phase.
