Apex of Ascension is the tier 3 incursion room of Ahuana, Architect of Ceremonies.

The room contains an Altar of Sacrifice which provides the player with one of two different functions:

Sacrifice a unique item (excluding Jewels, Maps and Flasks) for another random unique item of the same item class
Upgrades specific unique items found exclusively in the Temple of Atzoatl when sacrificed alongside a Vial.

The altar may only be used once per temple.
