Upon killing all the monsters of the plot that contain Vivid Vulture and other monsters, Vivid Vulture will grant one of the following one time use crafting option (as of Harvest league):[1]
Change a Scarab to another Scarab of the same rarity
Attempt to upgrade a Scarab, with a chance for it to become Winged
Split a Scarab into two Scarabs of lower rarity[confirmation needed because of 3.13 changes]

The monster skill set is similar to other vulture:
It is not clear that the monster always spawns as a rare monster or not, thus the infobox on the right assume it is a normal monster. Note that rare monsters have more than 2 monster explicit modifiers which affect the damage and life even more.

Harvest has been added to the core game and has been vastly reworked. It no longer contains a garden-building component, nor a permanent garden of your own. Instead, you now have a chance to discover a portal to an established Sacred Grove in maps, which contains several different harvestable plots.
