An Armourer's Scrap is a currency item that can be used to improve the quality of a piece of armour. Each scrap applied to an armour will increase its quality by up to 5% depending on its rarity.
Obtaining
Armourer's Scraps can be obtained from slain enemies or purchased from some vendors. Greust in the Forest Encampment and Tarkleigh in Lioneye's Watch will both sell a scrap in exchange for one Blacksmith's Whetstone. Armourer's Scraps may also be obtained from an Artisan's Strongbox.
One can sell any piece of armour with 20% quality to any vendor in exchange for an Armourer's Scrap.
One can sell any number of pieces of armour whose total quality is at least 40% to any vendor in exchange for an Armourer's Scrap.

One can trade Greust 3 Armourer's Scraps in exchange for a Blacksmith's Whetstone. One can also sell an Armourer's Scrap to any vendor for 2 Scrolls of Wisdom.
